Ian Frazier

Ian Frazier is an interesting person, to say the least. His style is definitely intricate, hysterical, and quite random.

Meet Ian Frazier -

I - important: Frazier writes non-fiction novels in addition to his other works. For example, he wrote Great Plains, a first-person narrative through an adventure through the plains. This is one of his most famous works along with Coyote vs. Acme. The novel takes us through important American history as it relates to Native Americans. His work appeals because of the relevance and importance to us as readers.

A - adventurous: Frazier also enjoys journeys - he was born and raised in Ohio, went to college at Harvard in Boston, then to the Great Plains, then moved to New York, and has finally settled down in New Jersey. Frazier enjoys a good adventure, especially through the Great Plains as his book titled the Great Plains is a first person narrative of journeys there.

N - noteworthy: Frazier's works are outstanding and I recommend them! He's definitely a noteworthy author.

F - funny: Many of Frazier's works are very humorous. Frazier has even wrote for the Harvard Lampoon, the comical newspaper. One of his most recent humorous works is Humor Me: An Anthology of Funny Contemporary Writing (Plus Some Great Old Stuff, Too). However, his most famous funny story is Coyote vs. Acme.

R - random: One would imagine that an author specialized in humorous works probably would not be one that also specializes in non-fiction. This author does. Also, random fact of Frazier: he once wrote for a porn magazine in Chicago, how random is that?

A - awesome!: Frazier's works are very well developed and are really funny! Overall, they're awesome

Z - zany (amusingly unconventional): Frazier is an odd person sometimes, especially considering that he's written for a porn magazine, the New Yorker, the Harvard Lampoon, nonfiction, and humorous short stories...

I - interesting: his works include a wide variety that can catch the interest of any type of reader. He writes nonfiction novels, such as On the Rez or Great Plains, yet he can write hilariously funny stories, such as Coyote vs. Acme and Dating Your Mom.

E - extraordinary: It's hard to find authors that write about issues beyond the ordinary styles of writing. Frazier does a great job of diversifying his works and

R - respectful: especially of family. His wife, Jacqueline Carey, is also a published author. Furthermore, Frazier has even written an autobiography for himself and his family entitled Family.
