City- Boulder, Colorado is the happiest city in America.
Song- Postcards From Italy by Beirut
Character- Sue Heck from The Middle is a great example of a buoyant character. She is perpetually happy, even though she is terrible at everything.
Clothing- Literally, a buoyant piece of clothing would be a life jacket, because it floats. However, Lady Gaga’s bubble dress could be considered buoyant because bubbles float.
Food- Watermelons are a buoyant food because they float in water, and they make people happy when they eat them!
Painting- “Buoyant Sea” by Lisa Occhipinti
Nice song choice!! It really sounds light and buoyant. I also think that the idea of Lady Gaga's dress is a funny play on words. My only question is about the painting. My favorite item in this post is the painting. I think it really captures the essence of the word buoyant with it's light blue and white circles. The dark brown splotches in the corner create a good contrast with the lighter colors to show how the light mood of the painting.
ReplyDeleteI think all of your choices were great! I also especially like the painting. I think the colors, the use of light, and the bubble-like shapes are perfect for the word "buoyant". Good job!
