It looks like the man on the death bed has just died because the woman is shaking him. It seems like he was trying to say something right before he died, and then he had the wind sucked out of him. It seems like its a long time ago because the nurse or woman is wearing a cap, but she looks white and the man on the bed is black. So, I can't decide which time period this is supposed to be from. The man looks really aged, and worn out. It looks like an impersonation of Joe's death scene.
This is a man who is dying. There is a women sitting at his side, holding his shoulder. He has a wedding ring on, so maybe the women is his wife. The man looks like he is in a lot of pain as he is taking his last breath. It looks like he is using his last bit of strength to either grab the women's hand or push her away. It looks like he is lying in his bed, not a hospital, because he is wearing a button down shirt and you dont wear that in a hospital if your a patient.
This man appears to be dying or even recently dead. The maids or nurses are tending to him are obviously reacting in a desperate state that one only does when death is in the equation. This reminds me of Jody's death because of that blank look in his eyes that Janie describes. This picture really shows me what that looks like and now I can feel why Janie felt pity even for the man that never treated her fair.
The man lying in bed appears to be very ill and dying. A maid is by his side and we can see the man reaching a hand over to grasp hers. It could be that these two had some sort of special relationship. However, the man does not seem to be showing any emotion. Therefore, he could just be reaching out in pain or anguish because he knows he is in his final moments. This picture is clearly meant to be from several hundred years ago.
The man on the bed seems to be either dead, or close to dying. A woman, who could be a maid or wife, stands by him. Obviously, this situation seems to be similar to Jody/Janie in that Jody is the man who's dying and Janie is the woman by the bed. It also seems similar in the fact that the mans seems shocked at something. In the situation of Jody/Janie, Jody would be annoyed that Janie says he is going to die and stands up for herself. Lastly, this picture seems to be from an old time period, maybe that of Janie/Jody.
The picture portrays a middle-aged man who is on his deathbed. He looks sickly and gaunt and clearly is struggling. There is a woman who looks like a nurse who is gripping him. She seems to know that his minutes are numbered and his end is near. He is clutching his heart which makes me think he might be having a heart attack. It seems to be dawn or they are in a dark room because there is very little light flowing into the room.
