Vocabulary Review, Weeks 6-7

Write a sentence that describes each of the photographs above. Use at least TWO vocabulary words in each sentence, and please demonstrate in the sentence that you understand what the vocabulary word means. As usual, you may always change the form of the word to suit your needs.

Week 7 Vocabulary

Tell us how you feel about one of the following: homework, food, driving, art or sports. Use at least 4 vocabulary words to do so, and please write in either 2nd or 3rd person. (and have a great weekend while you're at it, too)

"They" the Children

Act as though you were going to write a story similar to "Flower Children" about your own family or The Kinkaid School. Write an introductory paragraph using a 3rd person, "they", omniscient narrator (see the first paragraph of "Flower Children" for reference) in which the reader gets a clear idea about the family or students, home or school, and values of the characters. Insert your paragraph into a comment below this post.

Week 6 Vocabulary and TASS, Pattern 8

Complete the exercises for Pattern 8 and 9 in TASS, if you haven't already. Then, in a comment, please write a paragraph that uses at least 3 vocabulary words from Week 6, and has at least one sentence that uses Pattern 8 or 9.
